Chris Berland is the Vice President of Finance and is responsible for all financial functions of the organization, including FP&A, treasury management, accounting, and strategic analysis.
Prior to joining PI as Vice President of Finance, Mr. Berland was a Director of Finance for the Hospital Solutions Group, a business unit of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions. Mr. Berland was an integral part of the acquisition of Extended Care Information Network in December 2007 where he led financial due diligence, identification of synergies, and financial integration. Prior to his time with the Hospital Solutions Group, Mr. Berland was a Finance Manager dedicated to the Physicians Interactive business unit of Allscripts. When he first joined Allscripts, Mr. Berland had various roles that supported the TouchWorks business unit, corporate consolidated planning and analysis, and corporate consolidated reporting.
Prior to joining Allscripts, Mr. Berland spent a combined three years in investment banking as an analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of Montreal Nesbitt Burns where he was engaged with senior bankers on the execution of various projects, including M&A Advisory, Capital Markets, Corporate Lending, Leverage Buyouts, and Recapitalizations.
Mr. Berland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kansas State University.
